Depends on the car and cables…1/2-9/16, 7/16-1/2, 5/16-3/8 on side terminals…10,12, 14 metric…or just use an adjustable wrench instead.
That will depend on your car. Mine uses a 5/16 wrench on the cable bolts (side mount connection battery). I have used a 12 mm, 7/16, and even 1/2 inch wrenches.
On the battery hold down bolt I have used 10mm thru 12 mm and 3/8 to 12 inch sockets with long extensions.
It depends on the car. Most foreign cars require a 10mm or 8mm wrench. Some have 13mm and 13mm or 14mm wrench to remove the hold down bolt.
Most GM cars use a 5/16 or 8mm (same size) connection bolts.
Some 13mm and 10mm also.
get a set 6mm to 15mm sockets and a set of
1/4″ to 1/2″ sockets.
A cheapie set from Walmart will work. Sears has nice sets of 1/4 drive deep socket sets metric and SAE for $10 each set when on sale.
Normally $20 each set
